All cables used to drive the pulley wheels and 200 lb. steel weight stack are rated at 2,200 lbs. and deliver a smooth and secure feel while exercising. Not only that, the pulleys and cables are configured to a 2:1 ratio which essentially doubles the total amount of force to 400 lbs.. For enhanced safety, especially where machines are not under any supervision from trainers or staff, the CG-9516 includes a fully shrouded weight stack to make sure that clothing or body parts never make contact with the moving parts inside.
